About Us

Ron Brown, Roffler School of Hair Design’s talented instructor, received his license at the age of 17. While attending college, his barber license provided a way to work and attend school with everything he needed in one handy area. A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in Education, Ron chose to stay in the barber field and own several shops. His opportunity to teach barbering presented itself and he has been teaching students the art of barbering for the past 36 years.

Ron has always felt that finding work that made you happy was an important part of life. Barbering has afforded him the opportunity to travel and learn from barbers and stylists from all over the world. As a result, Ron is able to share his experiences with his students who are just beginning their career. Barbering is the only job Ron has ever had and to him, barbering is not just a job, but also a pursuit of happiness!
